This is the Old Bryce Mental Hospital (aka Jemison Hospital)..There isn't too much information that I can find, because the main one was on the college campus (Bryce) and this was just referred to as Old Bryce...but what I did find out was that it was made in the mid 1800's and there is another building that was built in the 1960's located on the same property...I didn't get to go into that building on this visit... Ok, just down the road from Fox Glacier is a lake called Lake Matheson which is famous for reflecting the mountains that surround it. Its about a 10Km hike around the lake, but coming up to sunset its nice way to relax after spending the morning and afternoon hiking on the glacier.
