Okay, I must admit: I cheated a bit on Red angel (#3). I used Photoshop to bring out the reds and purples with the Curves option. I'm actually torn between using digital technology to enhance photographs and my purist ideal of keeping the photograph exactly how I captured it.

I really like # 4! Sat 31-Jul-2004 00:27

I am intruiged by this million monkeys tag line...are you referring to the probability that a million monkeys randomly pecking away at their typewriters can produce a Shakespeare sonnet? Because you know, I am a very clever monkey...I don't need to cluelessly punch keys...I'd look a little something up on the internet.... Fri 23-Jul-2004 22:40

I've heard of giving a little leg, but I don't think this was what they meant. Fri 12-Nov-2004 20:56

I agree that Red Bench is great! What a contrast! However, I think Chorus and Traitor are really good, too. Fri 12-Nov-2004 20:58

I suppose this is a quick break from China photos to fulfill an obligation. Flatteringly, I was invited to join Lan as she celebrated her 21st birthday tonight, bar-hopping around Austin's Sixth Street. Of course, I being the photojunkie I am, I dragged along Timothy, my Canon EOS 10-D, so I was designated as one of the photographers for the evening. Taking posed photographs goes against much of my photographic morals, but I make an exception when people ask me to. So, here they are.

You named your camera Timothy? That is so cool - my son's name is Timothy! Mon 19-Jul-2004 02:34

your posed pictures are cute. very good equality with the last two artistic pictures...and in time (when you are very very old i mean) i think you will enjoy the posed friends pictures just as much as your other pictures. Fri 23-Jul-2004 14:02

#7 is wonderful. No compromising your artistic integrity there. I think a couple of poses is forgivable. Fri 12-Nov-2004 21:04
